My journey to beautylika was a windy one. For years, I had experienced discomfort and irritation from my bras, socks, waist bands, and certain clothing. I always figured I just had “bad skin.” Then when I gave birth to my first child, I began using a pumping bra multiple times a day. Turns out pumping bras need a lot of elasticity and are therefore constructed with a very high blend of spandex which it turned out my skin was very unhappy about. When I showed the rash to my uncle, a contact dermatitis expert, he said 1) wow, I’ve never seen a rash quite like that (never good to surprise an expert), and 2) yeahhh, you have a spandex allergy. Thankfully, he recommended beautylika and I’ve never looked back. I completely cleaned out my closet of spandex and replaced what I could with beautylika and have been the happiest of customers ever since. Thank you for making my life a lot less itchy!

Finding bras has always been a nightmare for me, but when I developed contact allergies to synthetic materials, it was even worse. I had to say goodbye to all of my current bras but I felt uncomfortable walking around without a bra. But then beautylika came to my rescue. With my severe latex allergy my options on clothing is extremely limited. Special-ordered organic wool sweaters and beautylika clothes are all that I can successfully wear. When I ordered my first few items of clothing I found that I could actually breath a full breath of air...amazing! My throat did not swell up either. My skin and body are so much healthier because of beautylika.

Adding a little creativity, I am still able to be stylish day-to-day as well. Now that my husband and I have discovered that my son also has this allergy, we are able to order underwear that is safe for him. I have very sensitive skin. I am allergic to rubber and latex. Before I found beautylika underwear I used to get rashes from the rubberized elastic on ladies' panties. But for some years now I wear the comfortable beautylika boxer shorts underwear, and have no worries over getting any rashes. They are very comfortable too. These garments wash well and retain their shape, I am very grateful to this company for manufacturing such a quality product!

I have been wearing the side tie bras from beautylika for years now and love them! They allow me to button and tie it in the front so there is no discomfort trying to reach in the back. And they are always just the right tightness because I am the one who adjusts it, not like the bras of the past that would always bind. beautylika helped me with my formaldehyde allergies

I have a severe formaldehyde allergy, which causes me to break out in hives. Any time I encountered humidity, rain, or sweat, the formaldehyde in my clothing would leach into my skin causing rashes on my torso, limbs, and feet. Anti-itch creams and medications didn't help. It was incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable and made me avoid outside social gatherings as well as curtailed my enjoyment of the beautiful summer weather.

Ever since I found beautylika products, life has been so much easier. I started off with beautylika's white shirts and pants, and when they added underclothes and socks, I was over-joyed because I could wear an entire outfit of chemical-free clothing! After I had figured out that I had a latex/spandex allergy I searched and searched to find somewhere where I could buy all cotton products. I was referred to Allergy Canada from someone and was so happy that they sold beautylika products. My first order was socks. I had not worn socks for 2 years.

Not so great when you live in Canada in the cold winters but it was better than the reactions I was having to the spandex in the socks. I then ordered bras, as I was reacting to the materials and elastics in regular bras. What a relief it was, to finally be comfortable and not have itching, burning and prickly skin! Thank you!

I have an inherited Latex allergy plus extremely fragile skin, while also very sensitive to dyes, chemicals, latex-similar products and slightly rough fabrics/tags including lace and “stuffing”. I found beautylika during a web research several years ago and have been extremely pleased with their well-fitting and comfortable bras. I have regularly recommended them to others. I wished beautylika were around in the 1960’s, as that would have made me a really long time customer! Like my mother, I had been using a thick camisole up until that time which did not provide any support.

I have a tumor around a hip appliance that causes horrific swelling. Before beautylika, I had to try and make my own "knickers." But now I can actually purchase a well-made garment that feels comfortable no matter how much the swelling.

I also have a metal allergy and find many underwire bras actually cause my skin to blister. beautylika solves that problem. Because the bras are so comfortable and healthy for the breast, I often wear them to bed to keep breast tissue in place to prevent sagging. They also keep the skin under the breast dry preventing a host of skin problems. And the bras do not contain all the carcinogenic chemicals found in the fabric of most bras. If women would do their research and wear beautylika, we could lower the rate of breast cancer, no doubt.

About 3 years ago I started reacting to all of my clothes and underwear that had spandex in it. I experienced many itchy rashes and my hands would swell, crack and bleed. This went on for a couple of years and I had a really hard time discovering what I was allergic to because you don’t really suspect that your clothes could be the cause.

Once I suspected that the spandex in my clothes was the problem, I spent hours shopping for 100% cotton clothing in regular stores and discovered that it is extremely difficult to find clothes without spandex. In fact, beautylika is the only place that I have found that sells bras, underwear, and socks that are 100% free of latex and spandex. I had developed a rash around my waistline that was not only extremely irritating, but also quite embarrassing. I had lived with this for a long time, maybe two years, before taking action. With a little research and a lot of doctor appointments, I realized I may have a latex allergy/sensitive skin. I found beautylika online and purchased a few pairs of the latex-free boxers.

Several years ago I developed multiple severe allergies. I didn't know at the time what it was so I went to a lot of doctors and all they did was send me home with new creams for dermatitis. I begged for them to allergy test me and they just told me it was stress and dermatitis. I did my own research and made my own appointment with an allergist and my life changed forever. I have allergies to formaldehyde, fabric dyes and anything elastic to name a few.

I have no allergies but I have never liked belts. I prefer the string drawn waist and it has a range of subtleties for adjustment. The pants and underwear wear extremely well and I have had them last years. The Egyptian cotton breathes and is light but keeps you comfortable all year round. It is time to order a new set of underwear and I will not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

These are great for my highly sensitive skin and because I have a chronic pain disease known as Interstitial Cystitis. My underwear has to be loose, comfortable and free of additives. They fit well, however, I buy them a size larger than normal so that there will be less contact with my sensitive areas and I wear them inside out so that all seams will not directly touch my skin. This is the best product for sensitive people or those with Interstitial Cystitis & Vulvodynia.

For several years I had been unable to wear any bras for longer than a few hours without coming out in wheals and a rash. Allergy testing at the hospital proved non specific, although I was allergic to nickel. Without a bosom to speak of I was not able to feel feminine.

However, I was lucky enough to discover Cotttonique and have bought several different styles. They are not glamorous and some styles are better form than others but at least I can feel feminine again!

I no longer have eczema on my legs

My skin is much more prone to break-outs if I wear synthetic clothing. Even a small percentage of synthetic in the fabric make-up often leads to skin issues for me.

Free and comfortable. Have had some frustration adapting the proper fit. Now that this has been accomplished it is refreshing to not have to deal with the itching etc. that the elastic etc. that caused such frustration for me when wearing a bra that was the only available on the market until now.
